It’s cool to see some physics, astronomy, and math concepts worked into the book. Although there’s a lot going on the first few chapters, Andy has done a good job keeping them organized. Shout out to John Paul for encouraging me to read this book! I wanna talk more but still got 90% left to read

I wanted to update haha, dw I didn't neglect this book but I am almost done and will finish it tonight or tomorrow. After reading this far, the cover of the book makes sense.

Ok SPOILER FREE. There are some characters I don't like, and some I admire. This book probably made me cry multiple times because of some wholesome moments. TBH I like the recent story (Ryland in space) more than the flashbacks of preparing for the Project Hail Mary, but the flashbacks provide important context to what's going on currently

Reading this book > Sleep. Ah I have so much to say but I don’t wanna spoil. I would say (especially in the first few chapters) I had no idea what was going on, but Andy explains my questions in the next few chapters, hence why I can’t stop reading this book. Where I’m at now, things are getting interesting

If you took all the science classes and pack it into a book, Andy has done a great job. I actually feel like the main character, experiencing the amnesia and recalling the memories prior to the launch of the Hail Mary ship. There are some confusing scientific concepts however, but Andy follows it up with tangible explanations that make me wonder more about these concepts.
