Fisher’s mood swings are giving me whiplash. He is hot, there’s no denying. And he seems like a genuinely good-hearted guy, and yet he constantly acts like a cold-hearted dick to Saeris. Like, I’m literally trying to save your kingdom from war and ruin and you can’t even be bothered to help me?? Kill me with kindness for a change, please😭

These last few chapters have been GOOD.

Loving this world building. Genuinely hesitated reading bc of the OG cover and the name of the love interest (haven’t met yet) being Kingfisher, but I read the sample and of course now I had to buy the actual book.

Carrion is an interesting character to me. Our first impression of him is bad bc he beats the shit out of our FMCs beloved lil brother, but after hearing him speak, something tells me he’s not so bad
