I actually really like the way they made Tyson less childish on the show and made him more of a brother to Percy even before they found out he actually was. In fact, I actually like a lot of what they did in the show. That might just be the beauty of watching before reading. I can appreciate both☺️

I’m in miscommunication hell

Alec is one of the most hot and cold people I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Like goddayum do we like her or not?? And are you going to implode if you merely COMMUNICATE to her why your feelings are so twisted??? This story is very cute but I’m getting hella impatient with the miscommunication thing

Genuinely curious about Death as a character🤔

A little disappointed the author didn’t continue with the Beudreaux descendants drama, but this book is still so good! Sad… but good.

Damn these men are going to drop like flies aren’t they💀 Paris was a crazy story. Also crazy that she admits to herself that death is going to be mad she’s revealing so much and in turn potentially kill off the entire human population—and she’s just like ‘oh well, I’ve seen enough’😂

I would actually love to see this book turned into a miniseries🙂‍↕️

Death is such a flirt omg is something wrong with me because why do I kind of ship Nella and Death more than any of the guys she’s met so far??!

Ohhh I understand the story structure now. This is actually such a cool premise! But I’m worried about the consequences of telling Sebastian about every when Death explicitly told her not to.

There’s a bit of unnecessary prose but what a cool concept this story is. I’ve never read Invisible Life of Addie Larue, but I imagine this is kind of similar.

Wow so the Tunnel of Love scene was completely different in the books. I’m also just now realizing how much the show’s been leaning into the Percabeth of it all. Okay I love the book, but I have to admit, the Arch and Tunnel of love felt way more epic and sentimental in the show. But I like both versions!

I don’t remember too much about the movies, but after watching the show, I think I’m liking the book better. There are just so many details that are different that I prefer over what the show did. That said, there are some things that I think the show did arguably better. ARGUABLY. Again, the lovely little details just make me wonder why on earth they decided to change or cut them.

Annabeth is my favorite character already, and not just because I watched the show and movies.

Why are the last hundred pages of every SJM novel always like the very world I stand on ceases to exist and I’m about to be consumed. The intensity those last pages hold are always the dealbreaker and never cease to amaze. Never a let down, never a bore. I might as well be choked out rn with the heavy gripped chokehold those last few chapters had on me.

This is really cute so far! I only have minor notes—one being that the author is really pushing this actor thing lol. This man has no common sense or personality other than the roles he’s played. But Cassidy is so cute!! I’m loving the way they are crushing so hard on each other. It does feel like authentic teenage feelings.

I do not like Abigail and I don’t think Richard Paul Evans does either😂 her abilities are cool but wow girl has no personality. NICHELLE however… she and Jack? Oh I see it. Michael and Taylor are so cute and Ostin and Ian are the biggest MVPs. But hot damn… what an ending here.

I don’t trust this at all. But also, why is Michael being fooled SO EASILY in this book??
