this is NOT living up to Legally Blonde. if you’re going to write a retelling, it better be on par with or better than the OG. Legally Blonde is so perfect, and set my expectations way too high. this has none of the soul from the OG 😔

another nitpick: why is Kordislaen having military meetings with a bunch of green recruits? it doesn’t make sense. briefings where he lets no one speak and then leave, i understand. but meetings where he listens to opinions of children who have never seen war (minus Ronan)????

a nitpick- Elle Woods studied to get into law school. Clio shows up with no prior effort put into getting into this military school. part of the reason why Elle Woods works so well as a character is her work ethic. Clio feels embarrassed after losing her first fight. like girl duh?? wtf were u expecting. wish she had a small training arc before going 💔
