The Sitters is about aliens who babysit children in a small town and how mature their students become.

Good Night, Mister James is about a man who imports a dangerous alien to Earth which escapes and he has to hunt down.

Oh, we're off to a weird start. The title story, All the Traps of Earth, is about a robot scheduled for mind wipe that escapes by riding on the outside of a spaceship, is exposed to hyperspace, and develops psychic abilities. Good old, well written nonsense.
