It's certainly interesting. Regarding the effective estimation of time described in Chapter 2 - Brooks takes his support from a place which seems as though it would be obviously true to either the experienced software manager or the truly gullible, but as someone new to the industry I don't think I have enough experience or information to evaluate the truth of his claims about scheduling.
