This was one of my most anticipated books of the year but I'm feeling such disappointment after picking it up. The writing is bland & colourless; even the Nancy Drew novels (which this book is compared to) have more personality. Speaking of personality, all of the characters so far just feel like cardboard cutouts. I'm ready to be surprised as I read on, but this is truly some of the most Nothing prose I've ever read
