Was reading this while also listening to the handmaids tale and during a sad world event/shooting and it was just really depressing me. I read her other two books because I found these dark storms so wonderful. Once there were wolves was great but her books all seem to have a melancholy tone and some “end of the world from climate change” themes which again can be DEPRESSING. So I hope to pick this back.
