Rin is spiraling. Her grief, guilt, and addiction feel incredibly raw. I’m constantly caught between rooting for her and hoping she lets loose next. The portrayal of trauma, especially when wrapped up in power, vengeance, and identity, is interesting. I suspect some foreshadowing here for major act of betrayal and all our war - will find out soon.

Just finished with part 1 of 3 - interesting so far, it hit the ground running and never let up. Seems the empress has Itiahi styled powers.
