Bridget is back! In the new film, Bridget's ex boyfriend Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) is conspicuously absent, replaced by a new American love interest. However in this novelisation, Bridget still finds herself torn between Cleaver and Colin Firth's Mr. Darcy, despite the fact she should have realised long ago they're both awful for her.

Still, Bridget is as hapless and hilarious as ever. I'm enjoying this one so far
