I wondered why the author sounded familiar! This was one of my favorite serieses when I was a kid!

I read her first series, the Alanna books when they first came out, when I was working at the library as a shelver. But I didn't read any more until I read the Beka Cooper ones just recently. If you haven't read those (Terrier, Bloodhound, Mastiff)I think you would probably like them very much!
