I think this book was an amazing novel about two teenagers. I would give it a 10 out of 10. I would do this because I think the author did a great job and the detail is excellent. I would recommend this book to readers through the ages of 10-15. I would do this because the characters of 13 in the book and it is easier to relate to them when your there age.

I can relate to the main character in the book. I can relate to him because he is in the eighth grade. Since he is in eighth grade, we both have many of the same worries including grades. He has a normal teenage life with many friends and a good family. I go through many things in my mind today that he is also going through in the book.
My goal for next week is 80 pages.

In this book, the authors purpose in writing is to show how being yourself or different can be a good thing. He is doing this by showing how a little girl named Juli Baker is living her life as a rather odd girl, but still having fun. While other kids are worried and stressing over being cool or popular, she focuses on being herself and is much happier then her peers.
