Oh hey, something interesting!

The first third of this book has been the slowest part of the series so far, and *noticeably* so. I am actually kinda struggling.

First 6 chapters: the book is alright so far. Just really dealing with the next step from the moments that closed this plot in PoD, but it has been pretty slow to this point. Slower than any of PoD imo so far.

That Prologue took me way longer to read than it should have tbh. The first scene was a *fantastic* opener. Second scene was also good but the end of it was…unexpected. Third scene opens up some interesting questions. Fourth scene is solid setup for Rand’s upcoming plot in this book.

Overall, solid Prologue; still get the feeling that outside one or two scenes these last few are just too-long Chapter 1’s tho.
