ofc right towards the end it gets interesting and we get a TAD bit of info. not sure if I'm gonna read the rest of the series, I kinda wanna know what happens but not have to read through the frustrating storytelling

why is nothing EVER explained in this book I'm almost 80% in and I still know basically NOTHING about the whys and hows and whats. I'm so frustrated. also it feels like the protagonist just conveniently forgets about half of what's going on around the him at any time??? he constantly dismisses things/comments that seem really fucking important??
