This book is really depressing at the beginning. The ranch sounds like such a fun place, and you can't wait to read more descriptions about, but then suddenly, it's gone. I feel bad for Esperanza because it must be really hard having to adjust to such a different life style, but her attitude, could change a little. They just arrived in America, so I'm excited to see what it's like there/here.
