So I've been away for 3 days with very little internet time. (I was given a surprise party in Las Vegas). I haven't had a Kindle or a book in 3 days (though I don't regret it at all). However, before I was kidnapped for Vegas, I managed to read quite a bit in this and I LOVE it. It's like Angelfall for adults. Or Queen Betsy meets Barron or just a surprisingly good book.

"My teeth bit through my lower lip, a few broke off, as my chin cracked on the concrete. Wet, red ribbons created crazy streaks across the once pristine sidewalk, and I choked on fragments of bone and blood filling my mouth. The creature remained on my back, its weight making it impossible to breathe."

So when did I download this book? I have no clue but it has a great start and I'm enjoying it tremendously. I've come to the conclusion that the best way to decide what books to read is to just read the first few pages, if it calls to me, I'll continue reading. This one definitely has my number (so far at least)
