The Devils is historical fantasy set in our world as it mentions the Mediterranean. The Pope got devils as his SWAT team to fight the battles humans can't, and he puts at its head a ink sucker office boy who's done nothing but paperwork.
At Gollanczfest we got a snippet of 50 pages (under the right edition this would be rather half) so it'll stay as "Currently reading" until I get an ARC or it gets published.
