Sometimes you just hate life for not allowing you more time to read ‘cause, forgive me, but who tf was just “standing in the doorway?” Are we seeing things now? What’s happening? :):):)

Every time I open this book I find myself fangirling lol so many familiar characters, it’s nostalgic.

“In fifty years, we’ve only had one victor, and that was a long time ago. A girl who no one seems to know anything about.”

“…I brought up our victor with Lenore Dove a few times, but she never wanted to discuss her.”

I finally got through the first chapter. I’ve been trying to read it for, like, three days. But it’s not because I’m not enjoying it, I just really wanted to READ it, focus on it and let it soak in without distractions.
I can’t stop seeing easter eggs and references. This lady has such a powerful way with words. I can’t stop reading. Send help.
