Fantastic character, great story, tricky meta conceit that really worked out!

Reshma is such an infuriating and wonderful character. Really fun read!

Great, meta premise: Overachieving high school senior Reshma is convinced she can write a novel to ensure her admission to Stanford. To keep things simple, she's made herself the protagonist of her story, but since all she ever does is study, she knows she's going to have to liven things up by becoming a more interesting main character.
