#4 Women was about how a singular creator gave to Adam and Eve life, descendants, the unique gift of hope in exchange for belief, justice, and ultimately a path. The path is to listen to listen to the warnings and save yourself because that's all you harm otherwise. Companionship and children is a unique gift that the creator doesn't make use of but gives to us as a gift and so we need to be fair and reject evil.

#8 Battle Gains. Keeping the general theme of 'why don't people believe a dude who performs no miracles and who just claims to be transmitting a message from God' with the argument that the victory in battle was the proof they needed. He basically repeats a theme of 'who are we kidding nobody believes no matter what they see in the old or new testament'. The proof is in the pudding (not considered a stand alone sura)

#7 The Heights: Idiots call upon blind, deaf, dumb idols. People who refuse to see or who are fated not to see or who are seduced by evil. There is an end date that no one can outrun and this chapter refers to the heights that separate the garden and the fire. Mercy extends to the children of men -- accepting it or rejecting will result in justice. You must pay the piper or there is no justice and ultimately, mercy.

#6 Livestock: The name refers to people sacrificing animals to pagan entities. They also even sacrifice children. The logic of sacrificing an animal to a God who made them all is beautifully posited as stupid. It's just presented -- not even said. God has mercy for rule breaking. A God who knows all enjoys seeing our leaps of faith and belief (my interpretation) and we conversley put our faith in stupid alternatives.
