I mantain my opinion, I’m not really feeling anything, still ok story with some eyerolling cliché but as a whole alright, and ok unremarkable characters, Aether and Ma being the ones I kind of enjoye more.

Has she finally realized she had romanticized the controlling creep she had spent no meaningful time with and didn't know at all?

This discovery that only Fia has made at just the perfect moment for the plot while everyone else overlooked it for years is very convenient…

It feels like a miracle to see people recognize how abusive, toxic and manipulating the relationship between Fia and Laryk was, even if she’s still romanticizing it

It’s a long book I don't know if I’ll manage to find the will to get to the end reading it all of if I’ll skim through.
This is for sure better than the first book, the problem is that in the first one I had HOPE, now I’m sadly accepting that nothing will stand out and it’s bland.

Not bad but also not that good, mediocre I fear... So far nothing stands out in this series 🙁​. Just ok.
And Fia is so childish
