A must read for anybody interested in comparative mythology. The cross between Norse, Greek, and Indian parallels are fascinating

To understand Shiva is to understand other gods in related Indo-European systems like Lugh, Apollo, Dionysus, Hades, Odin, Baldur, and Thor. The study of mythology and religion is not just the study of God but of humanity and what cultures and time periods find sacred. I’ve had this one on my TBR for years and I’m excited to have a copy
