Good grief. Literally transforming into a monster. How the heck is she gonna get out of the hold of the Muse, and was she posing as Carol before we met her? I feel like, was it her all along, or did it really start with her mother and Deidre?

I have no clue how this can end...happily?
I mean, there's no way there is going to be a happy ending, but will Jewel survive?

I know she's in the hospital, in a coma, but Deidre creeps me the heck out!

That scene in the hospital room was creepy AF.
I think she's definitely going to need that exorcist.

I usually don't read my ARCs this far in advance, but I couldn't wait for this one. Something about it is absolutely calling to me.
The beginning is startling. I can't wait to find out more about this sibling relationship. It's contentious to say the least, so far.
