a wild ride so far. feels a bit slow because so much of the book is about cams personal emotional struggle. it’s not bad and i’m sticking it out in the hopes that the twist will be worth it. so far: im frustrated with cam lying to the hostage negotiator about small things to protect luke when she has no idea any of the details. i get wanting to stand by him but some of the lies feel unnecessary? idk
