I feel as though I get lost sometimes in time… but isn’t that what the circus is all about?

LITERALLY ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT

The romance is finally picking up and I like it, but… I feel like it’s taken a back seat to every other plot line going on.

I keep waiting for something sinister to happen. The descriptors in this book are seriously creepy and macabre and yet the whimsical tone stays consistent.

Enjoying every second of this delectable novel. The scene setting and growth of these characters is thrilling to read about and the tension is finally building. I cannot wait to see how the third act takes place.

Slow and steady but oh so delectable.

This book loves to meander but I’m enjoying the journey immensely.

I will say that I’m ready for the romance and actual “challenge plot” to start picking up.

Oh this story is WEAVY! It feels like watching The Prestige for the first time.
