I got from the library the whole trilogy (of which "Dawn" is the first book) in one volume, which I read before I had to return it. I still have the Kindle version of "Dawn," which I'm not using. I reviewed it, comparing it to the classic Crime and Punishment. It does have some aspects in common, especially the whole Xenogenesis, but my own opinion is that it's better, especially in that it is more of a page-turner.
