I feel the relationship if you can call last min rushed sex and a love confession with no feelings prior that, wasn't really and developed. Disappointed in this book like I was 2 books ago. And the heroines are losing their uniqueness.

This book felt really blaw. I liked Brooke, court have liked Atticus better. He wasn't a jerk or anything but even in the last 15 pgs he's not even really recognized his attraction. Through the whole book he just saw her as a dorky sister like accessory to his father's job/death.

I think if this story arc is happening between the 4 brothers, more of the key elements should have been introduced in the last book. It seems this big story will be limited to only 3 of the Brotherhood of the Badge books which I think cheats the 4 books and this huge story arc. A bit disappointed.

I feel that this revelation he's having about Brooke should have happened 50-75 pages ago. It's so close to the end how is his dealing she's attractive going to turn into love in 50 pages?

And why does she have to eat blaw cereal she everyone else (Her aunts, Tony, Atticus) all get to eat real breakfast? I do hate these gender and "beauty" stereo typing in books. She's a woman she can be beautiful and eat eggs and bacon. Or drink a regular coke and not a diet.

She said herself right there, he's adding insult to injury. That's how I've felt about Atticus for most of the book which is really disappointing.

This series has lots of stalkers of females and lots of incidences in parking garages.

I feel like he really ended their make out session harshly. She was written to seem okay but based on everything else we've seen of her I'd expect her to feel rejected.

This one seems a little slow. Not bad, and it's delving deeper into the death of John Kincade but it's almost half way through and I don't even feel a spark between the two of them yet.
