The first scene made me extremely uncomfortable and then the writing continued to not be so great and now the main character has said something that made me officially drop this book

I really wanna keep reading this but I gotta work early 🫠 enjoying it so far!

Yeah, I can’t read this anymore.

Unfortunately, I think this is going to be a DNF for me. At first I was listening to the audiobook but I couldn’t stand the narrator. Her voice made me cringe and my face scrunched up every time picked up the book. Now I’m trying to read it physically but I think the audiobook made me lose interest. I’ll keep trying but I might just put it down for now.

This whole time I imagined Danika as a person of color but now I find out she isn’t. I am so sad.

This book... is just boring. I want to continue because I want to see how it ends but I also don’t like it. Ehhh.

I haven’t read a romance in a long while and this is not making me miss them. I don’t know why but Holland feels so obsessive over this guy she hardly knows and it’s getting on my nerves a bit. There are tons of times where I just laugh at how stupid she is.
