Should be required reading for everyone. A human side to a sadly contentious issue that is nothing more than human rights fighting against prejudices caused by ignorance and adherence to beliefs created hundreds of years ago and countered by science and human experience.

Glad to take a break to read a library book. This is depressing. Interesting. But depressing.

Enjoying this book. I can relate to the internal struggles that she shares (relationship related), but I'm not sure that someone who cannot/does not will have patience for the steam of consciousness chapters. I am liking it though.

Good read so far

On book 2 now. It's a bit scary how much I am like Harry Bosch when it comes to workplace relations. Freaky.

It's interesting reading a cop drama set almost 20 years ago

it's all fun and games until you're swallowed while by a hooker's vulva....

His lies and behavior are getting more reckless, still almost everyone is still getting taken in. At least his wife of TWELVE years finally figured something out and left.

Absolutely riveting reading about all the people who were taken in by this guy and the outlandish lies that he told. I know it was pre-search engines, but his lies were easily debunked!

After a long break since reading the last one, I'm not annoyed this time by her being unable to choose between Morelli (yum) and Ranger after 19 books. Just enjoying the hijinks.

Kind of boring. Not sure I'm going to waste more time reading it just to finish it.

If I were married to Mickey Haller I would divorce him too - he's EXHAUSTING. Which means he is fully and accurately crafted. Still want to Gibbs-smack him a lot, though.

Still experiencing landmines in reading this book. It's the usual non-fiction business book trap of dragging out a simply theory to fill a book's worth of chapters, shallow examples that "prove" the effectiveness of the theory by telling and not showing, lack of practical application (must be workbook out there?) advice and a frustrating read when the top managers you are working for aren't living and speaking it

finally getting into this book. the language is beautiful, but still not sure it's a story I want to read.

this is a fascinating and compelling book. a classy Tudor drama.
