Finally after like a week, I've finally picked this book up again! I'll be honest, the book is pretty good! I just rarely read Historical Fiction. I know this has a paranormal aspect so that helps too, but that's why it's taking me a hot minute to get through it. But it has been a bit slow, but I can tell it's picking up!

I cannot understand how I feel about this book. I've been reading it for almost 3 weeks now and I need to finish it. It's just I really don't want to pick it up. When I read it tho it's good, but the writing is so unnecessarily dense. Like the plot is decent and I am enjoying the characters, but the writing... It feels kinda like a chore when I go to read this book.

Ever since I got to Part 2, I've been enjoying this book immensely more than the beginning of it.
I found the beginning to be very difficult to read, and very confusing. But now the writing has been easier to read, let alone understand~
