I kinda regret buying the entire series but curiosity got the best of me. I hate "Temper" she is the worst character and very offensive at times. The typical stereotype and it's not cute. To say you love this character is like a slap in the face. I literally skip her parts immediately when I saw her name. In total I have skipped 30 pages of her "BS" cause I dont have the time...I just can't. Jesus Christ.

I do not appreciate how everyone loves "Temper". It is a stereotype I find disturbing and wrapped up in such a way that people believe this is how black women act. It is over done and I'm over it. I am a very intelligent female who at times uses vernacular to express myself and there is a difference. BUT THIS IS UNCALLED FOR. (Kicks soap box over). Just a PSA...thanks for listening.

So far 3⭐'s. I would have given this 4 but after finding out this is not her "original" idea and basically some Sara J. Mass fanfiction....I am truly disappointed. Which brings me back to my point...she needs to work on her writing. She has the potential to be an amazing author but I feel she rushes through her novels. They are always poorly executed. Will be finishing this tomorrow. I enjoyed it but not the writing.

Will try to come back to this later. I want to DNF this series but I may come back to it or skip this installment and read the book 3 but then I would be lost😂😂😂😂😩😩😩😩. Honestly it's ok but the pace is just not the same as the first. I still love Grey...just wanted more of the first book. So this will be but on the back burner.

All I have to say is Temper is the worst stereotypical character ever written and I'm not saying that because I'm African American. I skipped her scenes every chance I got and thank god it wasn't alot. I can accept alot but I'm not accepting that. No sir I have a receipt. You can keep that crap and return my change.

It's weird. She is a horrible writer who has good ideas. I honestly wish she would take some English classes or go to a writer's workshop because she would benefit so much from it. I buy her books because one...they are cheap and two I enjoy the orginally and slow burn between the characters. BUT. HONEY. SHE. NEEDS. AN. EDITOR. BAD. LIKE. I. NEED. A. SLICE. OF. PIZZA. Jesus christ...hasn't she heard of proof reading, spell check....hell an editor. This story is great. Meaning a great headache. I had to reread so many sentences. My brain is spending more time making corrections instead of just relaxing and reading. The story is interesting but the poor editing is taking away so much. Her writing is so poor. You can tell this is an older book. My god she has improved immensely.

I am so unsure If I want to continue this book or series. It started dragging and I became disinterested in the plot and the new characters that were introduced. How can you just steer away from the story in such a way and not provide me with more character development...I.E Harper and Rhen. Now I get you have to advance the story and you want to give a different view point but THIS is just disappointing. Might DNF.

Well since I've read a supernatural romantic novel I figured I keep the theme going....really dont care for romance novels but when you can give a Beauty and the Beast...YA style, you have my attention. I'm here and always present for that. Because that's my slow jam😂😂😂😂.

Honestly this is way better than Pestilence. I love the fact that it isn't overly load with sex scenes and action is so much better and I can actually stomach the "heroine".

So yeah....I haven't read anything in over a month. I feel myself finishing this today😂😂😂. It's an acquired taste. Yes it corny and overdone but its something about post apocalyptic erotica that just says...hello. It reminds me of Pestilence so much but the character development is a little slower but I feel its actually a good thing.

So I skipped "War"...because I just felt I wasnt gonna like it. It started out so choppy and not cohesive. Honestly I was gonna reread "Pestilence" but figured I give this ago because of the slow burn aspect I keep hearing about and I love me some slow burn😂😂😂.

Been in a bit of a reading slump. Came across this while browsing and now I'm reading again😂😂😂. Too bad the actual page count is not listed. For those interested it's only 252 pages long. A quick read.

It is done so well, at times I find myself questioning who is wrong. It is perverse and is done in a way that makes it accessible. With its ease and pace of the narration you are numb and feel vulnerable. I needed to take a small break to emptied my mine.
