I think I'm enjoying this alot because it takes place in Ohio...I'm from Ohio so I completely get it. And the fact it's super relatable. I use to work in retail when I was younger and this brings back memories.

There are alot of questions I have no answers to. "Dear heart"...never trust a talking spider 🕷 is all I can say.

Yes Caden is a jerk. Yes this is insta-love. Yes. Yes. Yes. But guess what? The story makes sense, the writing is good which for Laura Thalassa says alot, yes, yes, yes. I feel alot of people are offended by Caden but honestly...it's fantasy. It's not acceptable in real life but in a book...it's OK to dream of a hot blonde hair, hazel eyes, muscular tan guy. No judgment here sis😍🤷🏼.

Jesus I need a dictionary while reading this. The author thinks you will understand every word but honestly sometimes I'm just like ok and I start skimming because Lucy goes on these long tangents about nothing. I'm pretty intelligent but this is just preposterous gibberish...if that even makes sense. I've been forced to use my kindle's dictionary function every 5 mins and I'm tired of doing it.

For the first time in history...well maybe the 2nd time I've read a book by Laura Thalassa and it's actually written well. 🤔...seriously I am beside myself. Sure it's a little corny and the guy is a jerk but the girl is likeable? I'm just as surprised as you...lol. The premise is interesting.

Psychiatrist: "SO you have a problem?"

Psychiatrist: "You know you don't have to read her books? Seriously why harm yourself?"

Me: "Because I enjoy pain...I guess."

Psychiatrist: "Don't you remember what happened last time?"

Me: "Yes...I stayed up until 300am reading and telling myself....why am I doing this???? Because I'm hoping it will be different!! It's happened before!

I'm really enjoying this.
