Kind of afraid of how much I'm enjoying this book. I'm not gonna be able to be happy with books after this for a few months....😥

But this is so entertaining! Highly Recommend. While I do hope it doesn't go south from here I really can't imagine that happening because the cast is amazing and the writing is phenomenal.

I am loving this so far. I love the writing style and the way serious themes are handled with humour. I've been highlighting so many things in just these pages. I hope it doesn't go downhill, but honestly, it seems highly unlikely. Enjoying this a lot more than A Man Called Ove, but that's probably got more to do with my personal taste than the writer's storytelling abilities.

I am regretting buying this. I think Matt Haig has a writer in him, and that he's capable of writing very well. It's just that each of his original paragraphs or sentences are sparsely distributed between a pile of clique quotes.

Part of me wants to read the whole thing in a day just to be done with it. The other part of me wants to read one chapter a day because I stand this book for long periods of time.

I...... love all the Sonja and Cat Annoyance moments but I do still feel annoyed with Ove at times so I think this book is going to be a solid 3.5 stars unless something miraculous happens in the last few minutes that changes my mind. Or unless I'm rating this while crying. Then it'll be a 5 star.

Okay, so far I've had mixed feelings about this book. Sometimes I don't like it because the humour doesn't match with mine and the main character acts annoying. other times I like it because there are some cute parts with Ove and his wife or Rune. But I have just realized that Ove is a Tsundere and since I dislike tsunderes, I predict that I'll like the book overall, but just dislike Ove most of the times. Let's see.

I'm 75% done with the book. And 75% done with the characters as well.
