The twist took Away from the story and didn’t actually help anything at least for me

I don’t feel a connection to any of the characters and the way the science-minded sister is being depicted kinda makes me uncomfy. Like why are scientists always shown to be cold and detached?? It’s like saying if you like science you can’t also have feelings which is dumb. Also there’s a lot of weird printing errors and weird grammar stuff.

This is gonna be the year that I discover that I do not like sci-fi

Um ??? I’m in love with this ??? Clem is so dynamic and relatable and Phelan I’m already in love ?!?! Also Ambrose is a dilf.

iiiii don't know how i'm feeling about this one. i think i don't like references in my books ??? like not to media that's popular rn at least. it just takes me out of the escapism that i crave. also there's not a lot of character description and it feels like some stuff has been left out and it leaves me wanting more ???
but mo and mom are amazing and i'd die for them
