I don’t really know how I feel about this one. I like the story but I’m not connecting with any characters really and I swear it’s got something triggering in every other page. Thankfully it hasn’t really affected me but I think it will end up affecting my rating as I think this is for a very specific reader.

Reading this as an adult with a bias heavily against Rowling, I'm finding various writing things annoying.

Like the way it says soccer just irritates me, the lack of description regarding senses, and idk something about the way characters are described is very lacking but I don't exactly know why. However, this book still fills me with a sense of adventure. This is difficult.

The book itself is good, I love cass and Luke and I’m neutral regarding evie rn. However, the formatting ??? Is bad. It also should have gone through one final edit before publication. There’s so many missing or misspelled words (and some words that I imagine are wrong since they don’t make sense in the context).
