if you give an asura a cookie: 3 stars. cishet couples just can’t compete with the queer ships in this book. the asura magic was really cool and i wanted to see more of that, rupa had some really strong complexity but i guessed the twist very easily and i also just didn’t but the romance between them.

bride-heart; 4.5 stars. GOOD GOD THAT WAS TENSE. i loved this lore and the ideas here and amara and kacey were so cute. the ending just didn't do it for me, i wanted something punchier.
