Plot is getting kinda dragging at this point.

Very Jewish and very American. Not so keen on both but quite readable so far. "It" pronoun is very hard to get used to but at least it's not "they/them".

Well thank goodness my ereader comes with Oxford Dictionary because I have to look up many Judaism terms. This is kinda like Good Omens in different setting but strong enough to stand on its own.

Poor Rose tho, the age old peril of being in love with your straight best friend. You deserve better.

Research dense but highly readable. Definitely need to be read by not just parents but by everyone who will encounter/interact with Gen Z, and preparing for Gen Alpha's childhood.

Envious of the author's very idyllic work life. Random swims in the sea in the morning and fishing salmons in the afternoon and going around buying used books, I wish /I/ can afford that career. Reminds me of when I read My Family and Other Animals and how every other week the family kept moving houses like it's nbd and I'm like, RICH rich people?? Such idyllic lives they lead.

So far I don't think Shaun is that rude or grumpy towards the customers. Maybe I've worked in the industry long enough to see that his observations are mainly true lol

I suppose the author has given so many hints that Sylvia and Adrienne will break up. It's sad tho that they (or one of them?) throw away decades of companionship down the drain, but I guess that's my biggest fear as well. Being partnered with someone and ended up being bored of each other. Or they being bored of YOU. I'd rather be single tbh

Need more novels with a funky little lesbian masterfully managing her own business.

Anyone with half a brain can see that the progressives has lost their minds, and this book documents everything I've seen with my own two eyes. Fascinating to read.
