The solution to stinginess is a reorientation to the generosity of Christ in the gospel, how he poured out his wealth for you. (p. 68)

The first four chapters are wonderful! I love this quote, "The world is a theater for the display of God's glory." (p. 27)

"As if God were the creator of clones. He tells us in Psa.139.14 that we have been "fearfully & wonderfully made," one verse earlier, "You knit me together in my mother's womb" which includes not just our bodies but also our personalities, temperaments, & unusual styles - quirks and all. God made me to be me and you to be you, & He wants to use each of us within the special designs He has given us." (page 34, 35)
