Good grief, this is so engrossing.

I had such high expectations for this and unfortunately it reads like Dr. Seuss tripped on acid and wrote a more murderous version of Lolita—with tons of unnecessary, disgusting details and enough alliteration to put in a bullet in your head.

You better believe I'm including textbooks in my 2022 reading challenge--I've poured more hours into these than reading for leisure.

This book is so delightfully weird—and the tall, lean, cigarette smoking Charlie (aka Cricket the clown) is quickly climbing the ranks of notable book boyfriends.
