I wasn't sure about Rikke in the first book, but now I love her so much!
I still hate Leo and that won't change.
Gunnar Broad is such a sweet man.
And Orso is the best <3 I would marry him :D

I love Joe Abercrombie. His characters are the best.

Even though I only read 60 pages, I can say that this book is not for me. The characters feel extremely spoilt and young, which is why I feel this book is more for a younger readership. The writing style is also very simple. And it feels very simple in general. The world and the idea seemed very exciting to me, but I don't want to waste my time.

The Prologue was epic ! A Giant sword ?! What do I need more?

This is the story I have been waiting for years.

After 100 pages, I can say that this story is perfect in every way imaginable and that the last time I had this feeling was when I was first immersed in the world of Osten Ard.
