Admitting defeat and abandoning this.

There is so much superfluous information that has no relevancy to the MCs or story. There are so many pointless anecdotes that ramble on, like that relative with boring stories you always avoid.

140 pages in, the MCs are nowhere near getting together or realising it's the other they're talking to! 140 pages is a third of the way through and nothing has happened. Come on now!!

I really should have read the content warnings for this because I wasn't aware there would be an on page miscarriage and the grief that follows. It's way too close to the date that my daughter was stillborn and my brain won't let me read anymore of this right now. I do wish these warnings were in the book and didn't need you to click a link on a kindle where the web browser is so bad!
