I so wanted this to be a book about these communities rather than a book about an entitled dude struggling with his life. So far super bummed about this book and the lack of information I'm gathering from it.

So far this book is a really longwinded retelling of ICP's wikipedia page, stopping frequently to point out what a non-douchebag the author is to not make fun of them and how enlightened he is to be so LIBERAL in his thoughts of them - this, of course, making it absurdly clear he is a total douchebag. Still, I'm going to finish it probably.

I would not recommend it, so far. I mean. It's fine, and occasionally hits the level of satire, but for the most part it just feels kinda angry and confused about why it's angry, with very little of the funny I was hoping for.

I'm torn between comedy and frustration beyond belief.

Still another Ender book 100% different from the ones prior, but still excellent at creating a vivid world and lovable characters. WHOA, I just realized he has almost know enemies with known personalities, while they remain the enemy.

This book is perfect if you daydream of owning a farm someday as I do.

Guys I usually don't read humorless/memoirless non-fiction, but I'm already sure I'm gonna love this book.

She's getting more tolerable the more she talks about her trail experience and the less she talks about her past.

I truly hate the narrator but I don't want to give up.

Fun, not the best art, but a great story... Super awkward to read on the subway...
