Not far yet, but I'm really enjoying it on my second read. I had a tough time with my Dragonbone Chair re-read and was dreading this one, but it's going SO much better this time. I can't wait to get back to it.

Five stars inbound, I'm sure. Already looking forward to the next one.

I'm having a tough time with this one. I've read it before and enjoyed it a lot, and I have very fond memories of the rest of the trilogy. I don't know what the hang up here is. But, I desperately want to get into the Last King trilogy soon and have to reread this one first.

Picking up from where I left off in a re-read a few months ago.

Badass

This is a pretty enjoyable book so far. While it doesn't make the sequels good movies, good EU books sort of turn the bad movies into just poorly told parts of the overall story.

Slow going, but pretty good. Much better than I expected honestly.

So far it's pretty interesting, though all those names and ranks make it tough. I hear it starts flowing pretty early on at least.
