I'm enjoying this a lot. I like the unexpected decisions the characters have made recently, as it makes them feel more real and less tropey.

Enjoying this so far. I think what I appreciate the most has been the world building, because the cultures and their customs presented are alien yet nuanced enough that this place doesn't just seem like "the Middle Ages with weird names and magic". The custom of high born women hiding their hand. It's absolutely dumb, which in turn makes total sense for a sentient race (think about Chinese foot binding). Great touch
