Also me - suddenly balls deep in this book - where we all knew I’d end up anyway - Bc we’ve been building to these two for most of the previous book

That made me dislike her

I should loathe this series. But I enjoy the author addressing that issue head on.

I’ve apparently ricocheted from the nicest romance this side of Mayberry to human trafficking porn.

I’m not enjoying this aspect of the story

You’re either going to really like or hate this writing style.

I’m concerned these added plot lines may detract from the story

The writing - like the stops and starts - is kind of weird. But I like this. I like the moderate intensity and how the characters are a little weird.

Too. Much. Drama.

All over the place.

Also - I wouldn’t mind an impossible whopper right now.
