I'm not far in, but definitely far enough to kick myself for not taking notes of the delightful variety of phrases with "shit" in them (as in "'Shit sticks' said Eve, and fell right in." Also some delightful as words I've enjoyed looking up - most recently "widgeon" as in, "'What on earth kind of question is that?' she demanded. 'Of course I do, you widgeon.'"
