Dialogue is not this author’s strong suit, but besides that weak point, I am really loving this.

Probably going to give this up; I wanted submarine espionage but it’s mostly annoying patriotic propaganda so far.

Barely into this and I’m not sure how long I’ll last—the plot seems like it’ll be a lot of fun and I love the scenes focusing on Ramius, but the scenes from any other characters’ perspectives are really rubbing me the wrong way. Something about the writing style, maybe.

I’m stuck on page 42 because someone cut out page 43/44 and just gave it back to the library like that
