Not even halfway through and I understand the hype!

I’m glad I waited to read this book, considering how comparable the situations in the “old books” feel to recent events. Loving it so far.

After learning why this book is controversial, I didn't think I would ever read it (because...ew). However, the book club theme for this month was 'throwback' and Flowers in the Attic was chosen. So far, the story is intriguing and I’m enjoying the writing style.

I’m loving the modern setting.
