The author admitted he was biased and it definitely comes out in his writing. Even as he is trying to report the facts, he words things in negative or positive ways to support his narrative.
I feel like he is oversimplifying some things. For example, he conflates and confuses political conservatism and theological conservatism in the SBC in 1979.
