Hero is a controlling psychopath. I forget it from my other time I read it but I think he purposely broke up her wedding.

He gives her two pills twice forcibly. Throws away her wedding trousseau. Chooses her clothes for her. Tells her she can’t sleep off her jet lag.

Keeper he is not.

I wonder what they will be like in future. She will be a wilting overweight resentful wife probably who shops till she drops

I had expected to like it more but I am liking it less. I don’t know why.

Currently reading. I know I will upgrade the rating. I didn’t have the bandwidth to appreciate the story before. Have read only 20 pages and am impressed.

A mad love affair. The man isn’t committed (he is only he won’t admit it.) The girl is pregnant. But she’s mature enough to not involve him. It was her fault. She’ll deal with it.

She writes men and women in love beautifully.

Never shallow. Cold. Clinical.

She shows rather than telling .. The current lot can’t write a fraction of her writing.

I just started reading. The fact that the hero hates heroine. Yet he flew all the way from Florence to London to tell her about the tragedy shows how much he still cares.

extremely boring ...Nothing happedns. The hero and heroine see each other and remember oh this person exists? They formally languish forf each other like Victorians. Mr Darcy and Miss Bennet had more lust than these two. I'm officialy bored out of my skull.

every book hero is compared by her to another hero but he is bigger and taller .... so we're talkikng 7 foot, 8 foot...9 foot...10 foot. how can they be taller than very tall hero (of last in series???)
